You have a choice of 8 unique CINEMA DSP surround programs to bring out the full audio potential of your entertainment sources. The RX-V563BL receiver is capable of delivering large amounts of reserve power for accurate reproduction of high-energy peaks that are especially prevalent in digital audio sources. It is XM ready with XM HD surround sound powered by Neural Surround, and is also SIRIUS satellite radio ready. This thing is amazing.Right out of the box you plug it in, turn it on, and it works great.There are plenty of input and output options.Then there are advanced features that are well beyond anything I could ever imagine using.For having 600W of power I am AMAZED how cool it stays
The small printed tips was hard to read for me and difficult to understand. Maybe a geek can figure it out but after a month of owning this product it's not easy for me to understand. But most people can probably figure out all the settings. I can only get 720 instead of 1080 but I think i will be able to figure it out in time.
Again Yamaha hits a home run, allthough the manual is hard to understand,a nice quick cheat sheet would be nice
The receiver works and sounds great. I would recommend this product to others looking for a mid-price range unit.
I got the 665 model because the 663 was out of sctock. I'm very happy with it -- sounds great -- especially in CoD:MW2.
